Purpose

The Oxford Romanian Society (OxRoSoc) exists to foster a close-knit community of Romanian students and those interested in Romanian culture. We aim to celebrate and promote Romania's rich traditions, while providing social, cultural, and academic support to our members through a variety of events, activities, and networking opportunities. Our society is a space for building meaningful connections and sharing the unique Romanian heritage within the diverse Oxford environment.

What we've done so far

OxRoSoc has proudly organized a wide range of events that bring together the Romanian community at Oxford. From celebrating traditional Romanian holidays like Mărțișor and Dragobete to hosting formal dinners, pub socials, and cultural movie nights, we've created spaces for both relaxation and cultural exchange.
